oil on linen with "property of" stickers. Part of a social experiment during its exhibition where a sharpie hung beside the painting to see how many would feel entitled to pick up the marker and inscribe on my painting without actually giving the go-ahead to do so. This is a cropped photo of the piece before it went to exhibition. The public did in fact utilize the suspended sharpie to write on the piece, leaving no space unturned, and even going as far as writing over others scribes.
